  • How many acres is the farm?

    The farm is just over 100 acres and spans from Berard Road to Mission Creek. The farm is made up of a 20+ acre hay field, a 3 acre corn maze, approximetly 5 acres of pumpkins (spread all across the farm) and forested and swampy land everywhere in between.

  • How long has the farm been open?

    The pumpkin patch has been open since 2004 when Ron and Colleen and their 4 children sold about 100 pumpkins to friends, family and neighbours. The farm has been in operation since 1950 when Ross and Jean McMillan operated a small dairy farm.

  • Is the farm open year round?

    The farm is open during the fall, near the end of September, and as of 2023, during August (open August 3rd, 2024) with our brand new Sunflower Maze, in collaboration with Lentelus Farms.

  • Is the farm open on Thanksgiving weekend?

    The farm is open all weekend during Thanksgiving, regular hours apply! Make sure you come early as we've been known to be busy. regular hours apply. You can still enjoy all the activities we have to offer, such as the corn maze, hayride, slingshot, and jump pad. You can also interact with our farm animals and purchase a small pumpkin as a souvenir.

  • Are dogs allowed on the farm?

    Well behaved dogs are allowed on the farm, as long as they're under control and on leash and as long as you clean up after them. We love dogs at the farm but we don't love when your furry friends bug our furry and feathered friends.

  • Do I need to book ahead for activities?

    There is ticketing system during the fall and the summer. During the fall, our hayrides, corn maze and pumpkin slingshot is all admission based and require a ticket to participate.   • Is there an admission fee to visit the farm?

    There is no admission fee! The farm is completely free to visit if you want to check out the fence maze, photo oppurtunities and farm animals. There is a fee for the hayride, corn maze, pumpkin slingshot and all the different pumpkins and produce.

  • Can I get a refund if the weather is bad?

    Our refund policy is if we need to close due to severe weather or other reason, refunds will be issued. If you are unable to attend for any reason, refunds are not available. Please email us to reschedule your ticket

  • Can I have my childs birthday at the farm?

    Yes, you can have your child’s birthday at the farm. We offer a farm birthday party package that includes admission, activities, animal feed, and pumpkins for up to 20 guests. You can also use our picnic tables and benches for your convenience. Your child and your guests will have a great time at the farm, enjoying all the activities we have to offer. They can explore the corn maze, take a hayride, try the slingshot, and bounce on the jump pad. They can also interact with our farm animals and take home a small pumpkin as a souvenir. You can book the farm for two hours for only $125, or extend your party for an additional $50 per half hour, subject to availability.   • How much does it cost to have my birthday at the farm?

    The cost of having your birthday at the farm depends on the number of guests and the duration of your party. The farm birthday party package includes admission, activities, animal feed, and pumpkins for up to 20 guests. You can also use our picnic tables and benches for your convenience. The package costs $125 for two hours of rental. If you have more than 20 guests, you will need to pay an extra $8 per person. If you want to extend your party beyond two hours, you will need to pay an additional $50 per half hour, subject to availability. You can also add a food package option for an extra $8 per person, which includes a hotdog, chips, and pop for each guest. We look forward to celebrating with you!

  • What are the farm hours?

    Our hours of operation at the farm are 10am to 5pm from Sunday to Wednesday and 10am to 6pm Thursday to Saturday, from the September 23rd to October 30. We are October 31st from 10am to 2pm. However, the hours may change on holidays or days with inclement weather. Please check our website or call us before you visit to confirm our opening and closing times.

  • How do I get to the farm?

    The farm is located at 3690 Berard Rd, Kelowna, BC V1W 4A9. You can find directions to the farm at the bottom of this page. We have ample parking space for your convenience.

  • Can I book the farm for a wedding?

    Yes, you can book the farm for a wedding. We offer a unique and beautiful outdoor farm wedding venue in Kelowna, with hilltop views, open fields, iconic trees, and farm animals. You can choose from a variety of locations on the farm for your ceremony and reception, the hay bale area, or the willow tree.

Directions to McMillan Farms

From KLO road, turn onto Spiers Road and follow for 1.1km. Before Spiers Road begins to turn, continue straight onto Berard road and watch for signs for McMillan Farms. Parking is available in the large field before McMillan Farms and in the farm, follow signs for parking for both.
